An initial Home Consultation is arranged - simply call to book a day and time. This involves a home visit where we will discuss your requirements and personal likes and dislikes, and also to answer any questions you may wish to ask regarding our interior design and project management services.
Step 2. Project Design Consultation
Should you decide to instruct our services, a Project Design Consultation will be arranged where an outline of the overall style, colour scheme, materials and new layout will be discussed. At this stage, room measurements and photographs will also be taken. Step 3. Concept Board
The next step is to present you with a Concept Board for discussion. This will show actual swatch samples of all fabrics, wall and floor coverings, along with photographs of furniture, light fittings and various accessories in accordance with the style and themes discussed in the previous consultations. In addition, a basic floor plan will also be provided, which will outline the furniture layout to further illustrate the design suggestions.

You may choose to implement the design yourself at this stage.
The Concept Board and floor plan supplied will facilitate this. Alternatively, should you wish Charisma Interior Design to implement all building and decorating work, full Project Management estimates will be provided for review. Our Project Management Service covers the co-ordination of all suppliers and contractors, an initial written work schedule and up to-date status reports during all work in progress. Quotations for the supply of suggested materials to be used such as fabric, wallpaper, furniture, accessories, floor coverings etc. will be supplied for your approval prior to the placement of any purchase orders.
The project build will commence following your approval of all designs, materials, supplier list and work schedules. A 50% deposit will also be required.

*** A typical room make-over will take 1 day. Accessories and any decorating materials are extra and will be charged accordingly.

PLEASE NOTE: Since every project is different and rates may differ, time and consultation work is charged at an hourly rate of £60 per hour A design fee deposit of 50% is payable upon engagement with the remainder payable upon delivery of concept board and design drawings. A deposit of 75% (100% in the case of fabrics, trimmings, wall coverings and bespoke furniture items) against detailed quotation for materials is required to facilitate ordering. Remainder is payable before delivery. |
